Resources: Putting the planet's limited sources into a circular use!
Most innovative thoughts at Rivta go toward producing cosmetic bags with eco-friendly materials, making those products last as long as possible, and recovering everything by bringing them to new production. The words “Reuse, Reduce, Recycle,” less energy and fewer raw materials are needed for sustainable production, bringing social and environmental responsibility to our planet.
High-impact materials for sustainability
Rivta greatly influences on our environmental impact. As a result, we prioritize recycled PET, pineapple fiber, vegan leathers - and more. By 2019 these efforts prevented making more than 1600 tons of pollute waste.
Recovering materials more effectively
Not only the main materials but also the linings we currently use in our finishes are made of recycled PET, which is originated from recycled plastic bottles. The more we recover, the less waste we produce.
Use recovers and renewable sources
Sometimes recovered scraps aren't good enough to meet our quality standards, so we look for ideal solutions. Simultaneously, we bring lower costs to let it be particularly used and acceptable for the market.
All sustainable materials in Rivta are from recycled or natural sources. One of our goals is to let people be conscious of recyclable packaging and start using it by 2025.
Things do not change from one day to another, so we are working with innovative partners sharing a simple, focused purpose: make the world's packaging waste problem a thing of the past.
We are building a world without wastes for a better future: providing 100% of our bags recyclable or renewable globally by using sustainable materials.
Chemistry: Products are only as safe as what they are made of!
What makes the product’s texture, durability, elasticity – and more are the materials itself. But in the cosmetic bags industry, they're not all created equally. That's why Rivta is a leading manufacturer that ensures components of those materials are safe for people who use, for the customer who sells them, and for our healthy planet.
Responsible materials purchasing
We consider everything that goes into our products, from creating an extensive inventory of the substances used to the packages' manufacturing. That means, as a supplier, we are making a detailed map of the chemicals that made up our materials, providing a sense of trust to our customers.
What hurt us also hurt our planet
Rivta made a list of restricted chemicals that goes beyond regulations requirements. To keep the toxic chemicals out of our products, we closely work with environmental testing machines such as color assessment cabinet, colorfastness tester, heat press machine, tensile tester - and more.
Replacing in an appropriate way
If there are potentially harmful components in the materials, we replace them with a better option. For example, we are replacing PVC with PU material, virgin leathers are being replaced with vegan leathers, and the replacement of traditional nylon to recycled nylon, or even the use of organic cotton instead of the virgin ones.
More than 85% of mass productions in Rivta are optimizing potentially with new sources.
Adopting safer, cleaner, and eco-responsible solutions for our sustainable bags.
